Skirt material, while great for skirts, is a poor fabric for boat covers. It is not designed to hold up to years of direct exposure to harsh sun, wind, rain, and snow. That material will quickly lose its color and strength, failing in as little as one year.

The two ply 100% Polyester material has a 450 pound tensile strength, yet still remains soft, flexible, and light weight at 9.5 oz per yard. It's water repellant, mildew resistant, and remains flexible in all climates. One of its best features is its high dimensional stability. It is highly resistant to stretch, sag and shrinking even in the toughest of weather conditions. The underside is coated with a durable water-resistant finish which is white and pigment free to eliminate color bleeding onto the craft's surface.
To ensure the strongest seam strength possible, all seams are reinforced with DuPont Kevlar thread for strength and abrasion resistance superior to any other commercially available hovercraft cover. Heavy-duty 5/16" shock cord is pre-tentioned and sewn into the cover to ensure a snug, quick, and easy fit.
