Description   This a genuine Tiny-Tach for use with most small 4-stroke "lawn mower" style engine and 1-cylinder two strokes (Rotax 277 Scats). However, unlike the standard Tiny-Tach's you'll find in retail stores, these models have 14 feet of lead cable so that you can use them in almost any size hovercraft. They will show up to 9,990 RPM, and have an hour meter with reset switch. These tachometers are a breeze to install. Just wrap the red wire around your spark plug wire and connect the black wire to a ground. That's it! We can also special order Tiny-Tach's for other style engines including diesel and automotive engines. Send us an e-mail or call for a quote! UPDATE, JULY 2010 Tiny-tach has released a new model tach that replaces all old models.  It is programmable so that a single model that will work on virtually any engine and has a much faster update time (1/2 second vs 2 seconds) than the old model.  However, the price will be increasing to $54.99.  Once our inventory is depleted (which it almost is) the new model will appear on the website.  Expected arrival is mid July.   Features Used on engines with one spark firing on each revolution of the crankshaft. 1 cylinder 2 stroke (reads 1x / revolution).  Rotax 277 SCAT 4 stroke with electronic ignition and no points. Briggs, Kohler, Tecumseh, and Honda type engines. 2C can also be used on 2 cylinder engines where the cylinders fire 1X per revolution.
