Epoxical is now available with your choice of three different hardeners; SLOW, MEDIUM, and FAST. The strength characteristics are exceptional regardless of hardener, so all you have to do is choose the cure and pot life you're looking for. We recommend MEDIUM for the majority of applications. Fast generally works better if you're always in a cool environment (<60 deg F) and slow is good for hot environments (>85 deg F). As with most epoxies, around 75 deg F is the optimal working temp.

Epoxical 574 is sold as a 2 part kit which includes 8 pounds (apx. 1 gallon volume) of resin and 2 pounds (apx. 1/4 gallon) of hardener. The mix ratio is 4 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight, or 3.5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume. As with all epoxy resins, accurate measurement and mixing is critical to achieve top performance!

I've previously used Epoxical 4310A Resin for my Vacuum Infusion projects (with superb results), so when I needed a thicker resin for my lamination projects, I knew I wanted more Epoxical brand resin.

After using the Epoxical 574 resin, I've found it to be everything Slipsteam claims it is. I can mix any size batch on my gram scale and it always sets in a predictable time, with outstanding results. I love it!
